I remember my mom showing me this when I was about 4 years old. I am almost 17 now and I still think about this video a lot. I never had a dad to do this with, but I loved music so much it stuck with me to a indescribable degree. I remember watching this video or listening to it while falling asleep on my moms chest. She would hum it to me when I couldn't calm down from an autistic meltdown. I loved this video so so so much. I still do. It holds so many memories for me. I adore it to this day. As someone who never had a dad to experience this with, I'm glad that one day your daughter can look back at this and see the love that you guys hold for each other. I don't know what your situation was while making this video or posting it, but I can tell that this was a kind of break from any struggles or hardships. I'm glad you posted this, for me and for you. the irony of me running into this video. I used to watch your singing videos with your daughter when I was a teenager and now I’m in my mid 20’s. today I heard the song “be my baby” by the Ronettes which is what made me remember and look up your channel after so many years. Back then my grandma was still alive and our family was much closer and less divided than they are now. time is bittersweet truly and I see you’re experiencing the feeling too. I notice my parents aging as well, but it is a blessing to get to watch them grow older, and I’m sure your kids think the same of you. It’s good to run into your channel after so many years ❤

I'm 32 now. I remember watching this when it first came out(19 at the time). These videos brought out strong feelings of wanting to be a great father. Now, I'm coming back to this with a 7 and 9 year old. Literally made me cry. Still great in 2024!!!
